We spent a beautiful day on the cliff, overlooking Key Hole Arch in Laguna. The birds were sunbathing by the shore, and a tiny rabbit hid from the sun behind a rock. People strolled up and down the perfectly manicured walk-way lined with luscious native foliage, many of them stopping to give us a complement, which was appreciated. Growing up in California, I sometimes forget how lucky I am to be in such amazing weather during January, and this is one reason I pay homage to the ocean in much of my art.
The place where the land meets the sea is where I love to be.
