Gingerbread in the House!

Though time consuming, one of my favorite things to do is make gingerbread houses for the 'season'. This is just the amuse bouche to what I have in store, if I still have the energy to carry out my next ginger plan.


I made this gingerbread village for each of my kaBOOKi gals, as well as a gingerbread book for author Dianne Dixon who attended our discussion of her book, The Language of Secrets. What a treat it was for each of us to sit around our beautiful host's Christmas laden home in the woods, while listening to the author recant tales of what made her write this or that, all the while feasting on an amazing spread of delights.
